Dear John I hope you are doing well as we have entered Level 3. Yesterday, the Government announced that, unlike the Wage Subsidy scheme that operated in March last year for the higher lockdown levels, the current Wage Subsidy August 2021 scheme would have to be reapplied for each fortnight. Applications for the first round of the Wage Subsidy August 2021 scheme close today 11.59pm, with applications for the next round opening tomorrow morning, Friday 3 September, at 9am. If you are a qualifying business owner and have not applied for the wage subsidy yet, you can do so here or you and your employees may miss out.
