The Supreme Court has effectively ended Roe v. Wade. By declining to act on Texas’ almost-total abortion ban, the Supreme Court allowed that draconian ban to go into effect.

As the first woman to represent Washington’s 6th District in Congress, I will be a fierce defender of women’s reproductive freedom.

Women in Texas now can’t get an abortion after six weeks, and citizens are deputized to sue people who help facilitate an abortion. Someone who just drives a woman to a clinic could have to pay a $10,000 fine.

The GOP won’t stop until women everywhere are under their thumb. That’s why we have to stop them.

My opponent Derek Kilmer is the 13th most conservative Democrat in the House. He makes nice with Republicans while our rights get trampled. Unlike Kilmer, I don’t take a cent of corporate money, and I most certainly will not prioritize getting along with Republicans over our basic rights.
