It’s unconscionable that, in 2021, our generation must continue to fight for a right that should have been settled 48 years ago. But right now, the 6-3 conservative majority on the Supreme Court is on the path to overturn Roe v. Wade completely.

Reproductive rights are under attack at every level of government, and at midnight last night, the Supreme Court allowed the nation’s most restrictive abortion law to go into effect in Texas. The law prohibits abortions after six weeks — before most people even know they are pregnant. The law also enables private citizens to sue abortion providers and anyone who helped someone else access an abortion, including spouses, friends, and even ride-share drivers taking a patient to their appointment. This ban is cruel and sets an absolutely devastating precedent.

We must show that there is massive grassroots support for protecting accessible reproductive healthcare. If you agree that elected officials and the Supreme Court must uphold Roe v. Wade and protect reproductive rights, please join me in adding your name to our petition now.
