Our annual fall fundraiser has long been regarded as one of the most iconic events in all of the Democratic Party. In 2007, this event was a breakout moment for then-Senator Barack Obama -- and many say it was the moment he proved to Iowa caucus goers (and the country) that he had what it takes to be commander in chief.

We can't guarantee it -- but there's a good chance another moment like that happens at our Liberty & Justice Celebration on November 1.

When we were planning this year's event, we knew we wanted to make it an event that was symbolic of the enormous task we have at hand as Democrats: defeating Donald Trump.

That's why we gave this event a new name -- the Liberty & Justice Celebration -- and it's why we're hosting it in the largest indoor venue in Iowa, the Wells Fargo Arena.
