When Donald Trump appointed a slate of far-right judges to the Court with the goal of overturning Roe v. Wade, we knew we had to prepare for the worst. Last night, Trump’s Court failed to step in and stop a new Texas abortion restriction law from going into effect.

The new Texas law is extreme and dangerous. Not only does it prohibit abortions after six weeks, before most people know they are pregnant — it also enables private citizens to sue abortion providers and anyone who helps someone obtain an abortion, from friends to spouses to ride-share drivers.

If Republicans win back the House in 2022, they have promised to do all they can to take away the choice women have over their own bodies and BAN abortion entirely at the federal level.

There is no choice: if we’re going to defend reproductive rights, we must protect and expand our Democratic majority, and that starts right here in PA-07. If you are able, please make a contribution to my campaign today so that I can stay in Congress fighting for reproductive rights.

In Congress, I have defended a woman’s right to choose time and time again, and I am proud to have a 100% rating from NARAL. Everyone deserves to make their own decisions about their health and future. We must come together to protect access to safe and legal abortion.
