John, we wanted
to start the month off with one very important message: Thank YOU.

Thanks to this team, we moved mountains last month.

At the beginning of August, this team lifted up Cori's voice as she
rallied outside of the Capitol for five days to keep families in their
homes during the pandemic. Because of this movement, President Biden heard
our call to action and extended the eviction moratorium.

Again and again, supporters like you have had Cori's back as she's faced
attacks from the far-right and introduced groundbreaking legislation
including the Green New Deal for Cities, Unhoused Bill of Rights, and the
People's Response Act. Together, we hit our August fundraising goal with
grassroots donations of $5, $10, and whatever people could afford.

While we're proud of these victories, it's clear that there's still a lot
more work ahead of us to deliver urgently needed change.
John, Cori won't ever stop
leading this work to transform St. Louis and communities like it. Now, we
need to make sure she has the resources to keep organizing and legislating
in Congress in the face of far-right attacks.
