While it’s imperative that we remember the terrible injustices of the past, we must not lose sight of the hope that we have for the future. In the two decades since 9/11, we have made great progress with regard to equality under the law. And perhaps even more significantly, we’ve been hugely successful in defending clients in a way that creates precedents to help prevent government overreach in the future.
We’re certainly learned a great deal over the years and our mission is far from complete, but our accomplishments have given us the confidence to continue to push forward, providing a more just and equitable society for those who come after us.
