Right now, across the country, we're witnessing devastating climate disasters. From hurricanes in Louisiana and across the South to horrifying wildfires in the West, it's critical that we do everything in our power to take action to address the climate crisis.

That's why our movement gathered in front of the Federal Reserve regional branch in Denver to let them know that our fight to end fossil fuel finance is only beginning.

Two weeks ago, our team received notice that the Economic Policy Symposium in Jackson Hole, Wyoming – an annual meeting led by global financial decision-makers, including current Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell – would take place virtually.

So we pivoted our plans by leading two local actions – one with our friends at 350 Colorado and another with Sunrise Jackson Hole. Now we need your help to amplify our message before next week.

Can you sign our petition demanding that President Biden nominate a #FossilFreeFed Chair before our petition delivery to the White House next week? Our goal is to deliver 50,000 signatures and we’re so close!

Despite the last minute changes, the support from 350 Colorado and Sunrise Jackson Hole, in addition to the digital actions that so many 350 supporters took, we made waves in local, financial, and mainstream media. I’ve never seen anything like this before.

It’s only been a month since we launched our Fossil Free Federal Reserve campaign and I’m astounded by how much we’ve already accomplished.

Together, we’ve taken this campaign to new heights, and I’m excited to see how far we can go, together, John.
