One of our most sacred rights as American citizens is the right to vote.

Our leaders should be focused on making sure every eligible voter can cast their ballot as easily as possible -- but instead, many Republican-led legislatures are doing the exact opposite.

Just last week, the U.S. House passed the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act. When the Senate returns in September, protecting voting rights should be at the top of the list.
