Last week, GOP candidate Amanda Adkins was quick to bash the United States' withdrawal from Afghanistan but ignored calls to acknowledge her biggest supporter, Mike Pompeo's, role in the deal.

Since the withdrawal began, Republicans have hypocritically ignored their role in Afghanistan and their support of the withdrawal of U.S. troops.  

In a Facebook post to supporters, Adkins ironically asked, “is it a new policy that the United States should negotiate with terrorists?” She failed to recognize that Pompeo touted the Trump Administration’s agreement with the Taliban that set the stage for the United States' departure.
