I'm not here to fool you with any fake goals or “the sky is falling!” language begging you to pitch in a donation. That's just not how we do things.

I'm here to give you the straight and honest truth. And last night, we fell just a tad short of our August fundraising goal.

The good news is, if most people reading this pitch in just a few dollars, we can pick up the slack and reach our goal by the end of the day today — so we’re extending the deadline.
