Friend,
Today, I complete my walk across New Hampshire. With the strife in America, I remain convinced that what my candidacy offers — someone who can bring together and reunite this nation — is what is most needed and most wanted by Americans. I saw it in every meeting, every encounter, every nod of the head, that the people I met are concerned, worried, bewildered about how divided we as a people have become.
They are great people, and they don't live their lives in bitterness or conflict, but they see a country tearing at its seams and they wonder who can ever repair it.
If I saw someone running who could, I would not have entered this race for President.
I love policy, I know this world from having traveled throughout it as I served our country, and I know I have the tools to lead America to a more prosperous and peaceful future. I know that because of what the people of this great country have given me, I can help heal our nation's soul.
I feel this so deeply because I know that integrity matters to Americans: service to country, to others above self, and accountability in answering for oneself.
Help me unite this country. Thank you.
