NPH-Supported Bills Move Forward

Inside of State Legislature
The State Legislature's Summer Recess is officially over and NPH is pleased to report that two NPH-supported bills have advanced  through the legislative process. Both SB 9 (Atkins) and SB 591 (Becker) are now in the senate for a concurrence vote before they head to the Governor's desk for a signature.

SB 9 will streamline the process for a homeowner to create a duplex or subdivide an existing lot in all residential areas. SB 591 allows affordable housing developers to build intergenerational housing serving seniors and transition age youth.
