Today, September 1, America’s most restrictive abortion ban went into effect in Texas. The law in Texas completely outlaws abortions after the first 6 weeks of pregnancy, with no exceptions.

The conservative Supreme Court is sitting on the urgent legal challenge to the law. The right to safe, accessible abortion is decades-long established court doctrine, and it’s deeply concerning that the Supreme Court has not acted on this challenge.

We must show Democrats, who have power in controlling Congress and the presidency, to pass a law IMMEDIATELY codifying the right to safe, accessible abortion services.
