Today is deeply difficult. Texas S.B. 8 is one of the most dangerous and restrictive anti-abortion laws to go into effect in this country. This law is a full-scale attack on patients, their health care providers, and their support systems.

S.B. 8 bans abortion in Texas at six weeks of pregnancy and allows any person, including abusive partners, neighbors, or even a stranger from out of state, to sue a person or organization that provides or helps someone obtain abortion care after six weeks in Texas.
