On Thursday, September 23, in Washington, the Ethics and Public Policy Center and Princeton University’s James Madison Program in American Ideals and Institutions are partnering to host an event ([link removed]) featuring a discussion of Robert P. George and Ryan T. Anderson’s seminal National Affairs essay “The Baby and the Bathwater: Toward a Recovery of the American Idea ([link removed]) .”

At the event, Robert P. George, Director of the James Madison Program in American Ideals and Institutions and McCormick Professor of Jurisprudence, Princeton University, and EPPC President Ryan T. Anderson will deliver remarks based on their 2019 essay ([link removed]) , and then sit for a conversation with EPPC Visiting Fellow Alexandra DeSanctis and James Madison Program Communications Coordinator Antonin Scalia.

Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. ET for a brief welcome reception. The remarks and discussion will run from 6:00 and 7:15 p.m. ET, followed by a cocktail reception and hors d'oeuvres.
