Texas just implemented one of the most dangerous abortion bans ever. 

It outlaws abortion after six weeks of pregnancy – before most people even suspect they might be pregnant – with no exceptions for rape, incest, or fatal fetal diagnoses. But it goes further – the law allows for total strangers to sue abortion providers, patients, and their families for $10,000 in damages. This will make it virtually impossible for anyone to access abortion care and forces powerless patients to carry their pregnancies to term.

Anti-abortion politicians are coming for Roe v. Wade. This is a dangerous attack on medical providers, vulnerable patients, and basic health care. I won’t stand for it. The Supreme Court must strike this law down as unconstitutional.
