Four grivet monkeys ( [link removed] ), rescued from a life of deprivation at an amusement park in Ethiopia, will enjoy an enriched new life at our rescue centre thanks to YOUYou’ve helped Born Free give 52 rescued chimps ( [link removed] ) a health check at Ngamba Island sanctuary in Uganda – they passed with flying colours (and all thankfully covid free)The numbers of critically endangered eastern lowland gorillas ( [link removed] ) (the world’s largest primate) continue to steadily rise in DR Congo – you’ve helped keep them safe since 2000Rescued from the illegal pet trade ( [link removed] ), gelada baboons are incredibly inquisitive, but LOVE their daily enrichment in Ethiopia thanks to YOUR donations to our recent appeal.
MOJA THE SNARE SURVIVOR

Thanks so much for helping rescue a lion found with a snare around his neck in Meru, Kenya. Born Free supported the Kenya Wildlife Service’s vet team as they removed the wire and treated the nasty wound. Moja has recovered well and been set free, thanks to your amazing support! Talking of lion conservation, with your help Born Free Kenya has built a supersize night enclosure in Amboseli, Kenya to protect livestock, support local communities and encourage coexistence with lions.

Brave Puzha, the brown bear cub rescued in Russia, has gone wild thanks to YOU. She was too little to be released with the other orphans last year but, thanks to your donations to our Raising Cubs appeal, she has just been successfully reintroduced.
