Leftist radicals like Governor Newsom are dead set on violating parental
rights.

 

We sued Newsom for his tyrannical and unconstitutional order to shut down
private and religious schools during covid.

 

And we beat him.

 

Last month, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that Newsom violated the
Constitution when he shut down private schools.

 

But now, he’s petitioning the Ninth Circuit for a re-hearing, doubling down on
his desire to gut parental rights– even parents’ right to send their kids to
private religious schools.

 

At the Center for American Liberty, we believe that it’s the parents’ RIGHT
and RESPONSIBILITY to decide where and when their children go to school - so
late last week we filed a response to Newsom’s ridiculous request for a
re-hearing.

 

No re-hearing is necessary because the Ninth Circuit got it RIGHT. Private
educational institutions should not be subject to a governor’s power grab.

 

But today, we aren’t just worried about Gavin Newsom, because parental rights
are under assault across the country.

 

With mandatory masks and Critical Race Theory being forced on children in
schools across the country, it’s clear that the government doesn’t care about
the rights of parents to decide what is best for their kids.

 

Instead, they think they know what’s best for everyone EVEN when there are
numerous studies proving them wrong.

 

These pro-mask mandate government officials don’t care about the facts as long
as they get to push their radical agenda and slowly erode American’s right to
parent their children.

 

But I want to hear from you.

 

Who should make important educational decisions for kids?

Whenever the government decides to stick its nose in places it doesn’t belong,
it uses broad brush solutions that never address the problem.

 

The people closest to the situation, like parents and local community leaders,
are far better equipped to tailor a solution for the problems that face them.

 

That is why it is so important for parents to have the right to do their job!

They know their children better than Gavin Newsom does, and they are best
equipped to solve problems and keep their families safe and healthy.
