I know I’ve sent you a LOT of emails over the last few days, so let me explain why:

August is usually one of the hardest months for political fundraising, and with so much at stake in 2022, we can’t afford to miss our fundraising goals in any month of this year. So with just a few hours to go before our August deadline, I wanted to explain why this fundraising goal is so important:

The 2022 midterms have a lot on the line …

Since the January 6 insurrection, our democracy has been left in an especially fragile state.
Republicans have an advantage heading into the midterms — they could take back the House majority in 2022 just from gerrymandering alone.
If we lose the House next year, the same GOP reps calling for Biden’s resignation right now would be in charge of certifying the next presidential election’s results. 

The 2022 election may seem like a ways away, but we can’t leave any stone unturned. We’re $542 away from our August fundraising goal — can you chip in whatever you can afford right now to help us finish the month strong and have the resources we need headed into next year’s midterms?
