John -- ICYMI: Every Republican in the House of Representatives voted against the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act when Speaker Pelosi brought it to the floor for a vote last Tuesday.
But out of the 212 conservatives who voted against the bill, two take the cake as some of the boldest opponents of the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act.
Our team set an end-of-month goal of raising $28,758 by midnight tonight to fight back against foes of fair maps like McCarthy, Jordan, and the other 210 House members who voted against the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act. We’ve raised $7,719 so far!
Will you chip in $35 right now? That’s a little less than 17 cents per House member who voted against this bill. If you’re unable to donate $35 right now, you can contribute whatever amount is most comfortable for you.

The John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act would restore provisions of the Voting Rights Act that the Supreme Court gutted eight years ago. That’s why we’re seeing unified opposition from Republicans in the House. These anti-democratic politicians are in favor of voter suppression and against allowing everyone in this country to be fairly represented in our democracy.
A major component of All On The Line’s strategy to achieve fair elections and fair maps is to pass important federal legislation. To do that, we need to fight back against distrustful, untruthful opponents of democracy.
We set an end-of-month goal to raise $28,758 by tonight at 11:59pm. If you donate $35 right now -- which is less than 17 cents per House member who voted against this bill -- it will help us fight back against politicians like them who are in the way of fair maps and fair elections.
