Sorry for the double email, John. We wanted to correct statements made in that last note. Stitt and his appointed cronies are trying to defend banning masks in schools.

The investigation being conducted by the U.S. Department of Education Office for Civil Rights (OCR) will shed light on the irresponsible and dangerous mask mandate ban passed by Stitt earlier this year.

In response to criticisms over Republican attempts to keep our schools from instituting safety measures that protect our kids and families, Stitt's Comms Director said this: "President Biden shouldn't spend a single second harassing states like Oklahoma for protecting parents' rights to make health decisions for their kids."

We've had over 7,800 new Covid cases since last Friday. We cannot allow the failures of science-denying Republican officials to hurt our kids any further.
