Indivisibles,
As we continue seeing news about Hurricane Ida and about ongoing
earthquake aid and recovery efforts in Haiti, we here at Indivisible
National are thinking of everyone affected by these natural disasters.
Right now, we can all come together to offer support to those who need
help with supplies, shelter, and other recovery resources. We’ve gathered
some links to organizations working to provide relief in the Gulf Coast
and Haiti, and we encourage you to give what you can or seek out other
ways to help those in need in the aftermath of two massive disasters:
* The [ [link removed] ]World Central Kitchen is on the ground providing meals in Haiti
and Louisiana.
* Ayiti Demen’s [ [link removed] ]FOKAL Haiti Relief Fund is funding local grassroots
recovery experts.
* The [ [link removed] ]Haitian Bridge Alliance works to ensure Haitians have access to
protected status in the U.S.
* Another Gulf is Possible has a page for a [ [link removed] ]Just Ida Recovery, with
links to their own mutual aid/rapid response fund and other
organizations and indigenous groups that could use your support.
* [ [link removed] ]Mutual Aid Disaster Relief is currently accepting donations and
both [ [link removed] ]on-the-ground and remote volunteers for Hurricane Ida relief.
We hope that you and your loved ones are safe, and as always, we believe
in the power of Indivisibles to provide support where it’s needed most.
Thank you.
In solidarity,
Indivisible Team
