Last week, my Democratic colleagues in the House and I passed a budget framework that finally reflects our priorities. From Medicare expansion to a pathway to citizenship to a Civilian Climate Corps, it is a historic investment in working families. 

We also passed the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act, which safeguards our democracy against Republican attacks. Republicans recognize that they can’t win in free and fair elections, so they are trying to rig the system. 

This month, we hit the ground running -- ready to fight for working families, like we have all summer. But, it’s not time to let up now. We still have a lot of work to do to build climate-resilient infrastructure, guarantee healthcare for every American, protect the right to vote, and so much more. 

Tomorrow is our end-of-month fundraising deadline, and I’m counting on you to ensure we reach our goal. Will you chip in today so I can build on this month’s momentum through 2021 and beyond?
