Hi there,

Tonight at midnight, we will close the books on our August fundraising deadline, but at the moment, we are behind on our goal.

So before I go any further, I have to ask: Will you please pitch in to help us close the gap in our August fundraising? Anything you can spare would make a difference.

This month, we passed the bipartisan infrastructure bill in the Senate — a once-in-a-lifetime investment in our nation’s infrastructure that will not only help us rebuild our roads and bridges, but will also invest in clean drinking water, broadband access for all Americans, and more.

I’m proud to have helped get this done, but we can’t stop here. We still have so much work to do to expand affordable health care, address the climate crisis, protect our fundamental right to vote and more. But this progress won’t be possible without our Democratic majorities.

The bad news is, Republicans only have to flip one seat to reclaim the Senate and hand the majority back over to Mitch McConnell — and National Republicans are breaking fundraising records left and right to make it happen.

So if we are going to protect our majority and continue making progress in Washington, we can’t take our foot off the gas for even a second. That means hitting every single one of our goals so we have the resources to protect our fragile majority in 2022.

I’m humbly asking you to pitch in toward our end-of-month goal and help us keep the Senate majority out of Mitch McConnell’s hands.

I’m so lucky to have you on this team. Thanks for all that you do.
