Last weekend, Rep. Madison Cawthorn was spreading the Big Lie about the 2020 election at a North Carolina GOP event. But he didn't stop there:

“Because, you know, if our election systems continue to be rigged, and continue to be stolen, then it's going to lead to one place, and it's bloodshed.”
Rep. Cawthorn, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, and the rest of the GOP witnessed the violent insurrection against our democracy on January 6 firsthand -- but that hasn't stopped them from inciting more violence to support their lies that Trump won the election.

Progressive Majority is doing everything we can to defeat Rep. Cawthorn, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and every single un-American GOP representative. But Democrats have a razor-thin 8 seat majority in the House and a 50/50 majority in the Senate with VP Kamala Harris casting the tie vote. In 2010, Democrats lost 63 House seats. We can't afford to repeat history -- and give power back to GOP reps like Madison Cawthorn, who care more about their loyalty to Donald Trump than their loyalty to the American people.
