It’s no secret that Henry Cuellar has a lot of powerful backers behind him. Last cycle, he had significant support from the Koch donor network, Big Oil companies, the largest private prison network GEO Group, the Club for Growth (a Trump-aligned PAC), and big corporate PACs.
So the only way someone like me can win a race like this is if we completely outnumber all those rich and powerful people with tens of thousands of grassroots supporters fighting for a progressive agenda.
