A Message from our Party Leader

Maxime Bernier

Portage-Lisgar PPC EDA,

We had an awesome first ten days of campaigning!

Our team at HQ has been working countless hours to vet and approve candidates.

And here’s the result: We now have approved candidates in 330 ridings out of 338!

People are flocking to volunteer.

We’ve seen a marked uptick in the level of organization and activity on the ground since the campaign started.

And most encouragingly, our support is up in the polls.

The Leaders’ Debates Commission excluded me because we did not poll above 4% according to their calculations.

Since then, almost all polls have estimated our support at 4, 5, 6, or even 7%!

I have news for all those in the political and media establishment who would prefer to exclude us, ignore us, and pretend that we don’t exist.

You will have egg on your face!

Portage-Lisgar PPC EDA, the PPC clearly has wind in its sails.

We must take advantage of this momentum.

We already expanded our ads campaign on billboards to more regions of the country.

We now want to spend some money on TV ads, which are very expensive.

On Friday, August 27th, at a campaign stop in Quebec City with area candidates, I announced the PPC’s policy about covid.

Of course, I have been talking about this for 18 months and you probably already know what the PPC’s stance is.

But it’s now explained here on our website in the same clear and accessible format as our other policies.

It’s simple: We favour a rational, scientifically-based approach that protects our rights and freedoms.

Not the fear mongering and government overreaction of the other parties that only lead to more government power, less freedom, and more dependence on the state.

Portage-Lisgar PPC EDA, we’re the only party that has a clear policy on how to manage the pandemic.

Please read it, and most importantly, send it to friends, colleagues or family members who you know are fed up and looking for an alternative!

Two years ago, the establishment media tried to paint us as a racist and white supremacist party.

We now know that all these lies and smear jobs were fed by a professional dirt thrower paid by the Conservative Party, Warren Kinsella.

In this campaign, they changed tack. They just pretend we don’t exist!

CTV News has a map of Canada that shows where party leaders are campaigning every day.

They show where the Bloc leader is even though he never leaves Quebec. And where the leader of the imploding Greens is even though she never leaves her Toronto riding.

But not where I am.

The CBC Poll Tracker shows the average support in opinion polls for all parties.

But not the PPC. We’re in the “Other” category.

This evening, Radio-Canada television will interview the five other party leaders.

But not me.

Last week, Le Journal de Montréal sent us a questionnaire about our policies. They published the answers of the other parties.

But not mine.

I could give a whole list of similar examples.

Portage-Lisgar PPC EDA, the media cartel doesn’t want Canadians to hear our common sense message because it threatens their leftist narrative.

I’ll keep you updated about my tour of Alberta and Saskatchewan this week.

If you live in that province and want to come meet me and our candidates, check my itinerary here.

Thanks so much for your support!
Hope to see you on the campaign trail!
-Max

From our Membership Director Tiina:

The Assistant Returning Officer in Portage la Prairie said “as of now, he has not heard that there is any requirement for vaccine passports at polling stations”.

He also said, “I’m sure I would have heard if vaccine passports were going to be required." He added "in Manitoba, masks are now required to vote.”

If anyone has heard/read anything else, please call me 204-822-3005 or send me an email and I will look into it further [email protected] .

Gerry also confirmed that you CAN vote NOW at either of the two Elections Canada returning offices so long as the person you are voting for is a confirmed candidate.

EC would provide you with a blank ballot and you would hand write the candidate’s name.

All candidates have until Aug 30 to apply. Right now only Candace Bergen and Solomon are confirmed by EC.
Thanks, Tiina

Quitters Never Win

CPC voters appear to be lazy and content with the status quo. Forgive me for not being impressed.

Many of you are just blue liberals that don't like Justin Trudeau because he's annoying - so you want him to go away.

Youre not concerned that the CPC is in bed with China, pro Vaccine mandates, lockdowns, Passports, Mass Migration, UN Climate Accord and every other big money agenda policy out there. Just make Trudeau go away.

Cute. Real big stones you got there.

If you dont stand for your principles, you don't stand for anything.

Grassroots Movement Holds a Series of Rallies in Winkler

Vehicles lined Highway 32 south of Winkler for a three-day series of Freedom Rallies.

Karl Krebs, rally organizer, says the ground swell movement of support has come in heavy and hard as a result of the recent mask and vaccination mandates from Public Health.

"We had a lot of people there, and what we saw was a unanimous endorsement to bring Winkler under a protection that we believe exists," said Krebs.
