(RESPONSE REQUESTED)? ? ? ? ? Friend ? I don't say this lightly. This is our now-or-never moment. Tonight is the deadline to support the most significant grassroots campaign, to pass the most important climate legislation in a generation.

The U.S. House has just approved a budget resolution that will allow the Senate to pass budget reconciliation with transformative climate investments with a simple majority. We're asking for a response from every LCV member right now:

If you're in a position to pitch in, donate today. Help us win. Even $5 is enough to make a difference ? [link removed]

Votes in the House and Senate are now coming within the next few weeks. We have a shot ? a real shot ? at funding real, serious investments in green jobs. A real shot at addressing environmental injustices. A real shot at clean energy for all.

But with slim majorities in both houses of Congress, these votes are going to be incredibly close. Just one senator could make the difference between success and failure. We simply cannot bet our planet's future on a coin flip, which is why we have gone all in to pass this bill.

LCV has placed grassroots organizers on the ground in swing districts all across the country. We've launched massive, targeted advertising campaigns. We're meeting with business leaders, putting pressure on Members of Congress, and rallying voters to support climate action. We need your help to keep it going.

Please, consider making a gift today to support this vital work ? even $5 makes a difference ? [link removed]

The campaign is working. Members of Congress are hearing from grassroots activists, seeing lawn signs in their home districts, encountering ads everywhere they go ? they're seeing support everywhere for action on climate now.

We're asking for a response from every LCV member to keep this campaign going. Because this campaign is so important, a group of donors will triple match every contribution made before tonight's deadline.

Tonight is the deadline to support our most significant major grassroots campaign, to pass the most important climate legislation in a generation. Every contribution before midnight will be triple matched ? a $5 gift will go three times as far. [link removed]

As of this past week, our organizers have knocked on nearly 150,000 doors in Arizona, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Virginia to rally support for the bill in a leadup to a vote. This is just part of our massive field program spread over these ten states and key congressional districts. We are going door-to-door asking residents and businesses to pledge their support for bold legislation by displaying "Climate Action Now" signs in their neighborhoods and businesses.

If everyone reading this pitched in, we'd blow through our $50,000 August fundraising goal. That'd ensure our organizers have what they need to reach every voter and community leader where it matters most. Your contribution helps keep organizers knocking on doors and ads airing across channels.

So we're asking: Pitch in. Even $5 helps. Triple your impact. This campaign is too important to miss ? [link removed]

Together, I know that we can win this fight and bring our planet back from the brink.

Thank you for all that you do,
