Yesterday, my team reached out about the gap in our August fundraising and now, it looks like we might miss our end-of-month goal tonight.

You know, this kind of thing happens every now and then and I’m not going to pretend like missing a goal means the sky is falling — it’s not. And that’s not how we do things.

But the truth is, your $5 here and $10 there is so important to our team because when you chip in to emails like this one, you're helping us fund our operation year-round, defend Democratic candidates against right-wing attacks, and make the long-term investments we need to win. And I couldn’t be more grateful for that.

Mitch McConnell only needs to flip one seat to reclaim the majority, and with Senate Republicans raking in record-breaking fundraising hauls, we’ll need the resources to fight them off in Wisconsin and across the country.
