There are many reasons our campaign needs sufficient resources, but here are just a few:

1. Multiple opponents have already declared their candidacy to challenge Abigail in Virginia’s 7th District. They know how competitive this seat is and will do everything in their power to defeat her.

2. Outside groups have already launched ad campaigns to discredit her work in Congress. As we get closer to the election, there will be more attacks.

3. House Democrats know that this seat is vulnerable — that’s why they added Abigail to the Frontline list, which names House Democrats who must win in 2022.

4. Abigail is working every single day to serve the hard-working people of Central Virginia. She needs to win this race to continue advocating for the expansion of rural broadband, to lower prescription drug prices, and to keep fighting for the kitchen table issues that Central Virginians care about.
