Women Funded is a biennial conference from the Women’s Funding Network that brings together thought leaders and philanthropy professionals dedicated to creating a more just, equitable, and safer world for all of us. This year’s theme, The Feminist Factor, will explore how feminism—through leadership and philanthropy—will shape the future.

This year’s virtual format will give us the opportunity to visit places of the world together we typically wouldn’t be able to see. Join us for global “site visits” to Women’s Funds in Maine, St. Louis, Central and South America, and more.

With more than 2.5 hours of networking and small group discussion, 12 sessions spaced throughout the day, and an inspiring keynote address from a special guest – register today to make sure you don’t miss a single moment.

This year's featured conference film screening, Through the Night ([link removed]) by Loira Limbal, is a cinema verité portrait of three working NY mothers whose lives intersect at a 24-hour daycare center: a mother working the overnight shift as an essential worker at a hospital; another holding down three jobs to support her family; and a woman who for over two decades has cared for the children of parents with nowhere else to turn.

Panel Discussion: Join the film’s director and leaders in state childcare policy for an robust discussion on childcare solutions in the United States.

Through the Night is a tender portrait of titanic strength, love, and selflessness, showcasing the multiplicity of “women’s work” -- paid, underpaid, and unpaid; emotional and physical; domestic and career-oriented -- all while negotiating the terms of a dignified existence under the three arrows of racism, sexism, and capitalism in America. Directed and produced by Loira Limbal, a Sundance Institute Fellow and a former Ford Foundation JustFilms/Rockwood Fellow.

With powerful speakers, inspiring content, and incredible networking, you’ll learn from and with a community of cutting-edge philanthropic practitioners and community leaders. Join us for Women Funded 2021: The Feminist Factor. ([link removed])
