John,

In cities around the country, on the 58th anniversary of the March on
Washington, thousands of protesters rallied to protect our voting rights
because Republicans are looking to completely dismantle our democracy.

I was there in Washington, on the ground with activists, labor partners
and elected officials to demand Congress pass the John Lewis Voting Rights
Advancement Act and other key voting rights legislation that will combat
Republican's assault on voting rights.

Earlier this month, I met with members of the Texas legislative delegation
who bravely did everything in their power to fight Greg Abbott as he
rushed to pass voter suppression laws.

Republicans have long known that suppressing the vote is the only way they
maintain power.

It’s why they make false claims about voter fraud in order to pass voter
suppression laws.

They know that if we mobilize people of color, young and infrequent
voters, and everyone who shares our progressive values, they will lose.

Look, the fight to protect our voting rights isn’t going to be easy.

We need you to stand against Republican's Jim Crow voter suppression
attempts: Chip in $10 or more to build the campaign to protect voting
rights and pass the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act.

From Texas to Wisconsin and Georiga, hundreds of state-level voter
suppression laws have already been proposed by extremists Republicans this
year alone.

Whether it's Texas Governor Greg Abbott pushing to significantly cut back
early voting or Florida Governor Ron DeSantis limiting the use of drop
boxes and adding more identification requirements, the Republican Party's
main goal is to bring about Jim Crow-era voting laws.

Rush a donation to DFA now to fight Republican voter suppression: Chip in
$10 or more to build the campaign to protect voting rights and pass the
John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act.
