Tonight at midnight marks our August fundraising deadline.

We've been emailing a fair amount (sorry about that), but hitting that goal is essential if we're going to win this open House seat in Montana. We have the dual task of persuading folks to support Cora, and informing voters about this brand-new district. This will take time and resources, and we need to get started much earlier than the average campaign.

We ran the numbers and if just 5 supporters from each zip code chip in $3, we won't just hit our goal, we'll fly past it. That's all it takes.

Cora is doing things differently on this campaign.

Rather than get bogged down in politics, our goal is to stay laser-focused on the issues that matter -- high-wage jobs, affordable housing, protecting our public lands, and ensuring health care access across our state.

Special interests PACs are going to parachute into Montana to try and derail the hard work of our community organizers. It's only a matter of time, which means we'll also need to counter their attacks and spin.
