the Republican establishment all pushed a false narrative of devastating
Congressional losses in the Tea Party’s conservative ranks.

 

What is true is that establishment Republican candidates failed almost across
the board, while the Tea Party voice in Congress grew. Just look at this list
of victories:

* Rep. Victoria Spartz (Indiana)
* Rep. Matt Rosendale (Montana)
