We have an especially time sensitive project this week that needs your support. We need Dari, Pashto, and Farsi-speaking lawyers immediately to help support Afghan refugees ([link removed]) . ([link removed]) All volunteering is done through a mobile app, so lawyers can volunteer from anywhere. Trans Empowerment Project
Following neglect from her local hospital, a trans woman needs help understanding her options and navigating the process of medical malpractice. This is a remote opportunity, and lawyers can be barred in any state.
** 1—5 HOURS

Help Asylum Seekers Prepare for Credible Fear Interviews ([link removed])
Rocky Mountain Immigrant Advocacy Network
Asylum seekers fleeing from violence in their home countries need help preparing for 'credible fear interviews' that will determine if they can stay in the U.S. This project is only open to lawyers who speak Spanish or Haitian Creole. Although this project is based in Colorado, this is a remote opportunity and lawyers can be barred in any state.
** 6—10 HOURS

URGENT: Help Eliminate Language Barriers for Afghan Refugees ([link removed])
Tarjimly
Dari, Pashto, and Farsi-speaking lawyers are needed immediately to serve as translators and interpreters to help support Afghan refugees. All volunteering is done through a mobile app, so lawyers can volunteer from anywhere.
This project is only open to lawyers who speak Pashto, Dari, or Farsi. If you don't speak these languages, please consider sharing this project with your networks to help spread the word.
