I wanted to take a moment to reach out to you personally to ask for your support before tonight’s fundraising deadline.

When I decided to run for Senate, I knew we had to try something different than what we’ve typically seen in North Carolina.

This has to be a people-focused campaign that speaks to the hopes and needs of every North Carolinian — particularly those who have been left behind and ignored by Washington.

I know firsthand what it takes to win here because I’m the only Democrat in this race with a record of winning statewide. Each time we’ve won by running a campaign that excites and turns out as many voters as possible, and that’s what we plan to do again in this campaign.

I promise you that winning this race is possible, but it will only happen if we come together to build the largest people-powered campaign our state has ever seen.

That means we need you to invest now to help us build on our momentum and grow our grassroots team.
