The momentum is real.

Companies are finally waking up.

This summer, billion-dollar corporations like Sprouts Farmers Market, Kroger, and Giant Eagle took important steps for animals with back-to-back-to-back welfare policies. All across the country, supermarkets are making new promises to protect millions of chickens from the very worst of industrial agriculture.

Commitments like these are vital for the animals, and each one is a victory for every animal lover who rose up and spoke out against corporate cruelty.

There are big changes happening. I can feel it. Together, we’re influencing some of the largest corporations on the planet—and they’re listening.

But Tyson is still holding out. [[link removed]]

Momentum is building. But America’s largest meat processor—Tyson Foods—refuses to join the movement.

As one of the most powerful food companies on Earth, Tyson alone is responsible for killing an estimated 45 million chickens every single week—all in the name of profit.

Tyson’s wreaking havoc on our food system, and it’s not just animals who suffer: Tyson’s own workers faced numerous coronavirus outbreaks at its slaughterhouses, and its factories are devastating the environment with high emissions and reckless pollution. This must end.

Other companies are taking concrete steps in the right direction. Tyson has zero excuses.

This weekend, the Chairman of Tyson Foods—John H. Tyson—is celebrating his birthday while millions of chickens suffer on his factory farms. I’ll be sending him an e-card to share my special wish for his birthday: to end his company’s abuse of animals. Will you join me in making a gift in Mr. Tyson’s (dis)honor?

Thank you for making your voice heard. Let’s make sure Mr. Tyson sees the writing on the wall (and in his inbox).

For the animals,

David Coman-Hidy
President

P.S. We can stand up against corporate giants—by standing with animals. Tell Mr. Tyson what you think. [[link removed]]
