Did you know I met John on a blind date? A fellow teacher that John worked with set us up…and the rest is history!

Now, my husband is running for governor of Maryland, and I could not be more proud of him. And if you haven’t heard already, our campaign has a critical August fundraising deadline approaching at midnight tonight — will you contribute now to help us hit our goal?

I was drawn to John because I could tell how compassionate he is, even from that very first date. And of course, it helped that we both share a passion for school and the positive impact education can have on people.
