Here’s the thing, John: My team knows that these fundraising emails, while really important to our campaign, are not always the most exciting part of your day. We’d much rather share petitions on important issues and get your opinions, but our campaign has to survive.

Our campaign depends on grassroots support from people like you to build up our infrastructure — something that is chiefly important as we face redistricting, being named a top-GOP target, and more ahead of the midterm elections.

I know how important it is that we hold and expand our House majority next year so we can continue building green infrastructure, working to protect voting rights, and making sure our laws reflect scientific fact.

That is why I am starting my efforts earlier than ever before — with Republicans raising record sums and doing everything they can to block our agenda, we don’t have a moment to lose.
