John -- I'm proud to represent Georgia in the U.S. Senate as its first-ever Black senator. It was a long journey to get here. I grew up in public housing with 11 brothers and sisters. But thanks to hard work, family and community, I went on to earn a Ph.D and become the senior pastor at Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s church.

Since I got to the Senate in January after winning a special election, we've been able to make so much progress, including passing expansive COVID relief. And we can't stop there -- not when there's so much left to do. But whether I stay in the Senate depends on folks like you. I'm up for reelection next year and Republicans are spending millions of dollars to make sure I lose and they gain back control of the Senate majority.

Amy has been a fantastic partner in the Senate. We both care deeply about restoring and defending voting rights, expanding affordable health care and protecting American consumers. But in order to keep making progress, we need to keep Democrats in the majority.
