I know our campaign has sent a number of emails about tomorrow’s deadline, and I wanted to pause for a moment to share a bit about why these emails are so important for our campaign.

You see, North Carolina has a history of setting records for the most expensive Senate races in the country.

In fact, the 2020 Senate race here was the most expensive Senate race in United States history on Election Day last year, and political analysts expect this race to be one of the most expensive races in 2022. That’s because this is an open seat and a top target for both Democrats and Republicans.

So we know we’re going to be up against millions in outside spending, and that means we need to start raising the resources now to fight back.

When we launched this campaign, I committed to making it a true grassroots, bottom-up effort. That’s why we’re rejecting corporate PAC money, and instead, we count on lots and lots of people like you to power this fight.

Now, this may surprise you, but emails just like this one are one of our number one sources of donations. We know not everyone can donate every time, but when we all give a little bit whenever possible, it adds up in a big way.
