This month, corporate Democrats in the House threatened to derail critical investments in our future, demanding the House first vote on an infrastructure bill that is insufficient to meet the urgency of the moment.

Instead of an infrastructure plan that invests in more highways, we need one that prepares us for the current realities of the climate crisis―and, instead of billions of dollars in fossil fuel giveaways, we need investments that open doors of opportunity to urban and rural communities that are continually left behind, including expanding public transit to increase routes and service.
