Across the country, Republicans have made it clear that they do not care about voting rights, and they’re starting to push this dangerous rhetoric here in Connecticut.
One of my potential GOP opponents has come out in favor of the same voting restrictions that Republicans nationwide are using to suppress their way back to power. Worse, Republicans just flipped a Democratic state Senate seat — they’re surging in our state.
That’s why it’s more important than ever that we stand up for our democracy in CT. To make sure local Republicans don’t have a chance, my team is asking for democrat grassroots donors to chip in before the end of the month. Can you be one?

Each day in Congress, I’m working to protect voting rights. Last week, Democrats and myself took action to ensure that EVERYONE can exercise their right to vote.
But, we’re being met with strong resistance from Republicans who want to deny people the right to vote. If we aren’t careful, Republicans will try to pass the same restrictions here as they’re doing in places like Arizona and Texas.
