I’m a self-proclaimed numbers guy. I come from the business world where data and facts showed us the way forward. And running for Congress isn’t much different. Whether it’s how many doors we knock or how much our campaign is raising month to month, the numbers matter.
That’s why this end-of-month fundraising deadline tomorrow is really important. After spending August getting hit with attacks from multiple GOP dark-money groups, more QAnon candidates running for office than ever before and two Republican opponents jumping into the race to flip our seat red, our fundraising numbers are going to determine how much we can fight back to protect our House majority.

My finance director Kierra always keeps me in the loop about where we are in our fundraising goal, especially since we don’t take corporate PAC money, and I have to admit this month it’s been a little bit difficult because so many people are out of town and away from their email.
Not only are we in a race against the clock to raise another $12,272 to before the August 31st deadline, but we also need to respond to these attacks immediately!
As of this morning, we’re still over $8,000 away from our August projection and we really need your help to close that gap before the deadline tomorrow. Will you please chip in as much as you can so we can report back that we reached our goal?
