Frankly, Ohio Senate candidate Josh Mandel’s Twitter is one insensitive, incendiary tweet after another meant to stir up divisions. And his latest tweet comes as no surprise:
Mandel’s antics and agenda are about scoring political points for himself.
It’s clear he doesn’t have what it takes to be a Senator for Ohio families.
Chip in right now to make sure Mandel never makes it to the Senate.

We already knew Mandel was taking a page out of Donald Trump’s playbook, because he believes the gold standard for a president is one who:
Puts Corporations over American Workers: Trump gave tax breaks to corporations while leaving workers behind. Mandel promises more of the same. Just recently, he promoted going into work sick while we’re still in the middle of a pandemic. Leaders who respect workers wouldn’t ask anyone to risk their health and their community’s health -- they would fight for stronger wages, paid time off, and affordable health care.
Attacks Journalists: Trump constantly attacked the free press and individual reporters while dodging legitimate questions. Mandel is following Trump’s lead. Mandel attacked a reporter for asking what he would do to protect schoolchildren and their families from the spread of COVID-19.
Undermines our Democracy: Trump spread his big lie about the 2020 election being stolen from him and instigated a violent attack on our democracy. Now, Mandel is perpetuating that lie.
Mandel is emulating Trump and his phony populism because he's only out for himself -- he desperately wants Trump’s endorsement and the support of his massive war chest that comes along with it.
Unlike Trump and Mandel, our grassroots movement advocates for an authentic populism that never seeks to divide people. We’re fighting to lift up everyone -- not just those at the top. But we can’t do it without supporters like you getting involved. Please chip in to our grassroots organization before tomorrow’s end-of-month deadline.
Thank you,
Team Sherrod
