Kevin McCarthy represents (and defends) the very worst of the far-right. He recently joked about hitting Nancy Pelosi with the Speaker's gavel, tried to block the child tax credit, and he's been completely spineless in standing up to Trump on January 6th.

He's putting his quest for the Speaker's gavel ahead of our community at every turn. It's cowardly and time for him to go.
 
Our challenge is making sure voters know that Marisa Wood is the viable Democrat running to replace him.
