Hey folks,

Don here -- Sean’s Campaign Manager.

The end of each month can be pretty stressful -- hustling to reach fundraising goals, creating strategies for the next month, and hearing about Republican candidates and organizations breaking fundraising records again and again.

But one of my favorite parts of the end of the month is when I get the chance to write to all of you.

I know I’m typically writing to you to simply update you on fundraising numbers and humbly ask for your contributions, and -- don’t get me wrong -- I’m going to ask you to contribute towards our $30k August goal in just a moment. But I figured I could use this time to also tell you a little bit about myself.

I’m a dedicated Chicago Bulls fan. I went to school at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, and before I met Sean I worked at the Roosevelt Institute and on several political campaigns. I’m passionate about labor rights and fighting climate change.

Oh, and I deeply believe in Sean Casten.

In my time working for Sean, I’ve seen him stand up to Republican BS in Congress and fight for doing what's scientifically necessary to combat climate change, not just what's politically possible. I admire his work to protect small investors from being taken advantage of, and I admire his honesty and truth-telling -- he wants to do the right thing, not necessarily the popular thing.

He's also not a bad keyboard player!

I’m very proud to be the Campaign Manager for the first Democrat to flip IL-06 blue in nearly half a century. If you believe in Sean like I do, can you chip in $25 to his end of month fundraising goal today?
