I’m not afraid to speak up when I see something that is wrong and puts our children at risk. That’s why I’ve been vocal about the dangers that Republican governors like Ron DeSantis and Larry Hogan have put students, teachers, and their families in by not mandating masks in public schools. Fortunately, our state board in Maryland is stepping in where the governor has failed to lead.
Governors should never choose politics over people. They should never place personal advantage over the public good. When I’m elected governor of Maryland, I will always fight to keep our communities safe — in our states’ schools and beyond.
