Friend — the first disbursements of the new child tax credit went out last month, and they’ve already had a significant impact, reaching 61 million children and immediately reducing food insecurity.

With over 47 percent of families reporting they spent the credit on food, households with children struggling to put food on the table have dropped 24 percent to the lowest rate since the beginning of the pandemic. Despite every Republican voting against the American Rescue Plan, the Democratic majority has delivered real results to help families out of this pandemic and reduce child hunger.

NextGen proudly stands with the Democratic majority and the progressive leaders you helped elect in 2020. Will you help us continue the fight to elect progressive leaders who will take action on the issues you care about by donating $5, $10, or whatever you can afford today?

By electing progressive leaders who will prioritize our economic security, the climate crisis, student debt cancellation and federal voting rights protections, we can create the future we need.

Together,

Team NextGen
